Where your data is stored
- Database and sign-in
- Supabase, servers in Ireland
- Website and research software
- Railway, servers in the Netherlands
- Emails we send
- Resend, Ireland region
- Card payments
- Stripe. Card details never reach our servers.
The other providers we use, and what each one does, are listed in section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
How it is protected
- Encrypted connections. Every connection to verifieddial.com uses HTTPS, and our servers reach the database over encrypted connections too.
- No direct database access. Your browser never talks to the database. Only our server reads and writes it, and it checks who you are on every page and every action.
- Your workspace is yours. Every request is limited to your own account: a list, order or download that isn't yours is simply not found. Row-level security is switched on for every table as a second lock.
- Staff only where needed. Our admin tools are open to our staff only, and actions that move money need an administrator. Product photos you upload are private: only you and our team can see them.
- Sign-in. Sign-in links work once and can be opened on any device. A password is optional: we email you whenever one is set or changed, and changing it signs out your other devices. Repeated failed sign-ins are slowed down and limited.
- Careful logs. Our logs never contain phone numbers or email addresses. For abuse limits we keep a keyed fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself.
- Downloads. List exports are never cached, and every download is recorded.
How long we keep data
- Account and business information: while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as needed to answer any question about past orders.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Unfinished sign-ups: only to follow up with you; we delete them on request.
- Lead data: while it is accurate and useful for business prospecting. We re-check records over time and remove them on request.
- Removal requests: as long as needed to honour them.
The people in our lists
We hold business contact details only, from public sources and licensed providers, and use them for business-to-business prospecting under legitimate interest. Anyone can remove their number or email at verifieddial.com/remove: it goes on our suppression list at once and is left out of every list we deliver from then on. For California residents, this is also how to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
GDPR, CCPA and your rights
For our clients we process data to provide the service you order (performance of a contract), to protect the service and contact you about your leads (legitimate interest), and to meet legal obligations. In the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Canada our newsletter is sent only with your consent. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, restrict it or receive a copy; California residents can also ask to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing. Write to privacy@verifieddial.com: we answer within 30 days. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
