Acceptable use policy

The people in our lists are real business decision-makers. These rules keep every call and email to them lawful and respectful, and spell out what our Terms of Service already require.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

What you may do

Use the leads for your own business outreach: calls, emails and messages about your own products or services, to the people in the lists you bought.

Follow the law where the person is

You are responsible for following every law that applies when you contact someone. Depending on the country, that includes:

  • Calls and texts: do-not-call registers, and rules on automated, prerecorded and artificial-voice calls and texts. In the United States, the TCPA restricts autodialed and prerecorded calls and texts to mobile phones without prior consent, and many of the numbers we deliver are mobiles.
  • Email: anti-spam laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States, the ePrivacy rules in Europe and CASL in Canada. Say who you are and give a working way to opt out.
  • Personal data: data protection laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK GDPR, including telling people where you got their details if they ask.

These are examples, not legal advice. If you are unsure what applies to your outreach, check with a lawyer before you call or write.

Honour every opt-out

Stop contacting anyone who asks you to, straight away. Tell us at privacy@verifieddial.com so we remove them from our data too. Anyone can also remove themselves from future lists at verifieddial.com/remove.

What you may not do

  • Resell, publish or share the lists, or add them to another data product.
  • Use the leads for harassment, threats, fraud, scams or illegal products.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or hide who you are when you call or write.
  • Copy the platform or its data by automated means, interfere with its security, or share your account.

If the rules are broken

We may suspend the account of a client who breaks these rules or our Terms of Service. If you were contacted in a way that breaks them, write to privacy@verifieddial.com.
