VerifiedDialBot

Last updated: 16 October 2026

VerifiedDialBot is the name our software uses when it reads the public websites of businesses. If you found it in your server logs, this page tells you who runs it, what it reads, how it behaves, and how to stop it.

Who runs it

VerifiedDial, a brand of Harmony For Humanity LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. We build lists of business decision-makers with verified work phone numbers for our clients, who are businesses that want to reach other businesses. Questions about the bot: privacy@verifieddial.com.

What it reads

Public web pages of businesses: the home page and, when the site links to them, pages such as about, team, contact, legal notice, products and services. We look for facts about the company (what it does, where it is) and for the contact details it publishes for business use: a business phone number or email address, and what the pages say about the people who run the business.

It reads only what any visitor can see. It does not log in anywhere, fill in forms or create accounts. How we use what we find is explained in our Privacy Policy.

How it behaves

Every request from our own servers carries this User-Agent. We do not publish a list of IP addresses, so please identify us by this name.

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; VerifiedDialBot/1.0; +https://verifieddial.com/bot)

How to block it

Add these two lines to the robots.txt file at the root of your site, for example https://example.com/robots.txt:

User-agent: VerifiedDialBot
Disallow: /

That keeps VerifiedDialBot off your whole site. We keep a site's robots.txt for up to a day, so the change takes effect within a day. To keep it out of some folders only, list those paths after Disallow: instead of /.

Remove your data, or contact us

To remove a work phone number or email address from our lists, use verifieddial.com/remove. It removes them from future lists. To have your company left out of our research altogether, or for any other request about data we hold, write to privacy@verifieddial.com with the address of your website. We answer within 30 days.

If the bot is causing a problem on your site, write to the same address. We will look into it, and stop reading your site if you ask.
